The biggest advantage of UV cable ties is their long service life. Compared to conventional cable ties, UV cable ties do not become brittle and break when exposed to the sun and other weather conditions outdoors. Yes, all black cable ties in our assortment are UV-resistant for up to 5 years. Our black cable ties are coloured with a low carbon content during production. The long-term UV-resistant cable ties contain a higher proportion of carbon black and are therefore UV-resistant for up to 10 years. As a result, you can expose the black cable ties to UV radiation for longer periods of time.

UV resistance of stainless steel cable ties

Stainless steel cable ties are also UV-resistant. The stainless steel used in their manufacture, in addition to its high heat resistance, can be exposed to UV radiation over the long term.
